Case: Teachers are facing different situations every day, so they don’t have much time to receive long training sessions outside of work. For example, teachers will get orientation before each semester, workshops in the middle of the term, and students' assessments and evaluations at the end of the school year.
Based on this situation, I designed a website with Situated Learning Environment to make a better community for teachers and trainers.
Case: The Greater Washington Association of Teachers of Foreign Language (GWATFL) is a non-profit organization in Washington, D.C., Northern Virginia, and Maryland. Case: When studying in a university in a different country, it can be a challenge to adapt to its expectations and standards. Based on the experience of group members, as well as an abundance of academic research, many study-abroad students in the United States lack a comprehensive understanding of plagiarism. Furthermore, these findings translate specifically to
our incoming study abroad students at INTO Mason. From conversations with the Office of Academic Integrity, it has been identified that students are in fact more susceptible to plagiarism
cases. Our training will help decrease the odds of these students finding themselves in these situations by helping them recognize plagiarism, understand the reasons that it’s prohibited, and
be aware of its consequences. Additionally, it will provide tools, demonstrations, and resources to ensure long-term academic success.
Case: I am a foreign language teacher for about 5 years, I would like to create a VR language immersion serious game for Chinese language learners and the players are adults.
